Intro
Prayer is a nice skill to have on your side. If you have a high enough level you can even make it so nothing can attack you! It can also help replenish your health and many other things. When you use a prayer it drains your prayer. You must find an alter to recharge it.
Prayers
There are 15 prayers, none of them are members only! Below is a list of them, their effects, and level required.

28 | Steel Skin | Increases your defense by 15% |
31 | Ultimate Strength | Increases your strength by 15% |
34 | Incredible Reflexes | Increases your attack by 15% |
37 | Protect from Magic | Protection from magical attacks |
40 | Protect from Missiles | Protection from ranged attacks |
43 | Protect from Melee | Protection from close attacks |
Armor and Weapons
Yes there are armor and weapons that give you a "prayer bonus". These slow the drain rate of prayer.

Of course you must have a way to raise prayer. Pray takes a long time to raise. You raise your prayer by burying bones. I suggest you bury all that you get!

Prayer Guild
The prayer guild is located North-West of the Barbarian village and slightly North-East of the Dwarven mine. You must have level 31 prayer to enter. Once you can go in you can recharge your prayer (it gives you 2 extra levels , 33/31), get Holy Symbols blessed, and get Monk's Robes.
