Intro
Magic is a skill that can do many things. It can make you money, get you food, let you go places quickly and of course kill people and players.
Runes
Runes are what let you do magic. They can be obtained in many different ways. You can kill monsters for them, you can buy them or make them with Rune Crafting.

Staves
Staves are probably the preferred "weapon" of magic users. IF you get an elemental staff it replaces some runes, for example an air staff replaces air runes. Those type of staves come in 4 varieties, the four elements, air, fire, earth, water. They can be bought at Zeek's Staff Shop. Then there are mystic staves, these are members only. They must be made by human players. Once they are enchanted they will have the same fighting stats as a rune long and be like the other staves.
Magic-user's Armor
Magic users also have armor. These will help with your magic attack and defense. They will not help much when being attacked by warriors.
